The band from Los Angeles formed in 1971. The four man band featuring Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon, and Randy Meisner hit it big with their first album. The self titled record named “Eagles” was a huge success with 3 top 40 hits. The hits “Take It Easy”, “Witchy Woman”, and “Peaceful Easy Feeling” set the stage for the long career for the musicians.

Those fortunate to come across or purchase Eagles tickets have not been disappointed in their latest tour. The Long Road out of Eden Tour coincided with the record with the same name in 2008. The “Long Road” has become “The Long Tour”.

The tour featured 5 legs and is still going into 2010. The tour will span 141 shows and end December 22nd, 2010 in Melbourne, Australia. The band has aged gracefully and still the band can still hit the notes and work in harmony that only years of experience can offer. The current lineup features Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Timothy Schmit, and Joe Walsh.

Fans familiar with the Eagles history know the band has had some fractures. All bands go though various issues and many things like women, drugs, alcohol, ego, friendships can disrupt a band. For the Eagles, it was a rift between Glenn Frey and which sunk the band. Towards the end, they couldn’t even be in the same room so the band disbanded.

Each of the band members went solo and produced many albums until the band reunited for the “Hell Freezes Over” tour and live album in 1994. The Eagles Tickets were big sellers and the tour went on for over 2 years. The album was also a big success selling over 6 million records. was a part of the reunion until he was fired in 2001 for breach of contract.
